It was one of the most vicious rifts in showbiz. So fierce was the antipathy between Victoria Beckham and Katie Price, the Spice Girl once sang the Noughties anthem Who Let The Dogs Out by the Baha Men at the glamour model in the Manchester United players’ bar.
Both women’s then-boyfriends were playing for the Premier League team – David Beckham and Dwight Yorke respectively – while they were the club’s most famous and talked-about Wags, with a ferocious rivalry to boot.
Relations were first soured when Victoria had released a single, Out Of Your Mind, with Katie’s then-boyfriend Dane Bowers.
But now I can reveal Katie is out for revenge – and set to reignite the rift in her forthcoming Sky documentary series, Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, which she has made with Louis Theroux’s Mindhouse production company.
Sources close to the programme tell me that Katie reveals she felt envious towards Victoria and even that she was banned from attending the gigs and shoots that Posh and Dane did together.
‘Katie doesn’t hold back when it comes to the era when she crossed paths with Victoria. They met at Old Trafford and then Victoria started working with Dane, who was dating Katie. It was all very toxic,’ says my contact.
‘She admits she was jealous of Victoria. Katie and Dane had a tempestuous relationship and Victoria, who Dane idolised, was at his side as they made their record together.

‘Katie loves to shock and Dane was quite a big deal for her back then. She admits she was jealous of Victoria and all the time Posh was spending with Dane. Katie couldn’t handle it and lost it numerous times with Dane over it all.
‘As we know with Katie, she tells it how she thinks it is and it will very much thrust Victoria back out there and remind the world that once upon a time Katie and Victoria shared an orbit. That’s “major cringe” for Victoria.
‘To make matters worse, they hated one another. So much so that more than a year after the Dane fall-out, Victoria sang to Katie in the Old Trafford players’ lounge.’
The four-part series, which will be released on July 8, will look at the glamour model’s transformation into her alter-ego Jordan as well as her many relationships and marriages.
Katie herself told producers that they could talk to ‘anyone and everyone’ and had no editorial control over the final cut.
I’m told that she will ‘very much spill the beans’ on her boyfriends – who now make up a very long list. After Dane, she went on to date Dwight, the father of her eldest son Harvey, now 24, then Teddy Sheringham for a short spell. She met Peter Andre when they appeared on I’m A Celeb together in 2004 and they married a year later.
Following their divorce, she began dating Alex Reid and they too wed in 2010 before splitting within just 12 months.
Katie, who is now married to jailbird Lee Andrews, dated the likes of Danny Cipriani and Leandro Penna in between, as well as tying the knot with Kieran Hayler, the father of her youngest two children.
It is thought that the four-part show will feature her marriage to Lee. And while Harvey is expected to appear, it is thought that Junior and Princess, her children from her marriage to Peter, will not.

Victoria and Katie’s then-boyfriend Dane Bowers perform at Hyde Park in July, 2000. An inside source has now revealed that the glamour model was jealous of the Spice Girls star
‘Katie takes a look back over the past 30 years of her life. It’s whether her recollections are the same as what actually happened,’ says the insider. ‘Katie, of course, will have different takes on different situations, it is likely to annoy a lot of people. All of her exes were approached to take part but many declined to be included.’
While Katie’s back catalogue of boyfriends is vast, she takes her first aim at Dane.
In a stunning confession, she claims she was convinced Dane was cheating so carried out a jaw-dropping act of revenge when she turned up to his house to try to catch him in the act.
‘Katie tells the story of how there was a light on [at home] so she was convinced Dane was inside with another girl,’ says my source. ‘She let herself in to confront him. He wasn’t there but she was still fuming so she decided to steal every right foot of his beloved trainer collection in a bid to get a reaction out of him. But still he never did call her.’
During their relationship, which lasted just under two years between 1998 and 2000, Katie tells how Dane didn’t like her doing topless shots and eventually broke it off with her when she agreed to do a calendar.
‘Katie admits in the documentary that she was a “bunny boiler” with Dane and tried contacting him numerous times but he blanked her,’ says the insider.
After a very short fling with Teddy, another former Manchester United footballer, Katie began dating Dwight and quickly became pregnant with Harvey aged just 23.
At the time, she was at the beginning of her career and enjoying life as a fixture in the Press. In another astounding admission, she reveals that she initially got with Dwight to make Dane jealous and get her revenge on him.
‘You literally cannot make Katie up,’ says a source involved with the project. ‘She has no qualms about saying what she feels in the show, there seems to be very little regard to how anyone else will feel about her or what she has to say.
‘But then that’s Pricey for you, nobody who has crossed paths with her is safe.’
Indeed not. Just ask Posh Spice.
