World Cup WAG Ellie Watkins has revealed she had a wardrobe malfunction before England’s match against Ghana on Tuesday night.
The wife of striker Ollie Watkins, who was an unused substitute in the 0-0 draw in Boston, confessed she had had ‘an absolute mare’ with her outfit for the match.
As the rain fell in Boston, a frustrated Ellie posted a TikTok of her match day look, telling her 31k followers: ‘I had a whole summery outfit planned. And then we arrived in Boston and it is grey skies and due to p*ss it down. So that was issue number one.’
‘And then I unpacked my suitcase and realised I had forgot my bra and so the other top I was meant to wear was completely see through.’
Ellie added that she was forced to go for a last-minute, ‘pretty basic outfit’ showing off her YSL jeans and her Maybe tank top which she said is ‘giving me a bit more coverage.’
She finished off her ensemble with red flip-flop heels, a white England hat and a red jacket.

Just ahead of kick off in Boston, she showed off the look to her 89,000 Instagram followers with the caption: ‘Lil wardrobe malfunction led to an outfit change.’
To the delight of fans, Ellie also made a cheeky dig at TV pundit Roy Keane in her TikTok caption, responding to his recent criticism of WAGs who wear shirts with their partner’s name on them.
Ellie wrote: ‘Roy Keane do you approve ?’ adding an England flag, heart and laughing emoji.
One follower wrote: ‘Love the Roy comment. Laughed so hard.’
Last week former Man Utd legend Keane hit out at WAGs, ranting on a podcast: ‘Children is fine, but all the wives and partners were in their jerseys with their name on the back, wow…’
‘The wives, a year later, they’re separated, most of them. Wow. And they’re all getting pictures, and they’re like, “Look,” and they’re pointing at Jimmy or Johnny on the back.’
