Keke Palmer has finally broken her silence on rumors she is romancing Sean Evans.
On Tuesday the 32-year-old actress confirmed to Jay Shetty at Cannes Lions that she and Evans, 40, are ‘hanging out.’
‘We hangin’ out,’ she coyly told Shetty during Spotify’s Conversations That Channel Culture panel, per People magazine. She added, ‘You know what I mean?’
Elaborating, Palmer declared, ‘First of all, I love Sean Evans – I love Sean. Hey, Sean. That’s my guy.’
She said about their relationship trajectory, ‘You never know what can arise from there. We just take it day by day.’
And referencing his show Hot Ones, in which he interviews celebrities as they eat spicy chicken, the star joked that they are taking it ‘one wing at a time, so to speak.’

In mid June, Palmer and Evans were spotted out on a date in New York City.
The two were reportedly seen dining at Brooklyn’s swanky Italian restaurant Lucali, according to TMZ.
Evans was pictured chatting at his table with a woman who witnesses described as Palmer, but she was only visible from behind in photos shared by the outlet.
A witness said they dined for more than an hour and a half, and appeared to be ‘locked in’ on each other during their conversation.
The Daily Mail reached out to representatives for the stars for comment but didn’t receive a response.
The sighting came after Evans appeared on Palmer’s podcast Baby, This Is Keke Palmer in May, highlighting the flirty chemistry between the two.
Prior to that, in September 2025, the ‘Burbs star caused a stir when she appeared on Hot Ones and kissed Evans in the final moments of the podcast.
Fans have been intrigued by the two ever since that appearance, when she suggested, ‘Maybe we could just have a quick smooch, to see if there’s a spark.’

She’d recalled previously that Evans referred to her as his favorite guest two years earlier.
After finishing the hot wings interview, the media personality embraced Evans and they shared a quick kiss on the lips.
‘The sparks are sparking!’ she gushed after the viral moment, while Evans replied, ‘When I’m dying, and my life flashes before my eyes, I’ll have that snapshot.’
The two most recently reunited on the May 26 episode of Palmer’s podcast.
She and Evans continued their playful banter, and found another way to get physical as they played a game of Twister.
Palmer acknowledged the swirl of romance rumors, kicking off the episode on a playful note when she introduced Evans as her ‘potential future suitor.’
