“It all started with a desire to create the perfect lightweight holiday kaftan, as I couldn’t find one on the market. The idea developed into a holiday capsule, one that consists of lightweight, easily packable pieces that work together and can be styled in multiple ways,” Foreman explains. “I’ve always been drawn to a pared-back approach to dressing, gravitating towards pieces that feel effortless, versatile and enduring, and that work just as well as they do at home as they do when travelling abroad. Working with Asceno felt like a natural extension of that philosophy.”
The 13-piece edit is everything you’d expect from a collaboration between these two British creative powerhouses. Think: Asceno’s signature silks and draped loungewear silhouettes combined with Foreman’s penchant for androgynous tailoring and sculptural fits. Highlights include a boxy silk shirt in chocolate brown, white cotton pyjama pants, draped V-neck tunics in black and white, and elegant beach wraps. “I wanted the collection to play with volume and proportion, drawing on exaggerated oversized silhouettes I’ve come to love and rely on,” she says.
