Any lingering doubts that Kim Kardashian‘s new romance with Lewis Hamilton is little more than a brief fling were swept aside after the TV personality was introduced to his mother on Thursday evening.
Hamilton was accompanied by his 71-year-old mum Carmen Larbalestier while dining out with Kim and her family at Los Angeles restaurant Nobu.
Kardashian, 45, who has been dating the British sportsman since December, looked happier than ever as they enjoyed a group meal at the upmarket eaterie with her famous family.
Following his parent’s divorce, Hamilton was raised by his birth-mother until the age of 12, when he moved to live with his father Anthony, stepmother Linda and half-brother Nicolas.
The Formula 1 driver previously described Carmen as ‘the most amazing woman in the world’ in 2015 when he organised a surprise 60th birthday party for her in London, with special guest and performer Jessie J.
She regularly joins her son on his overseas trips, with Hamilton sharing photos with her during a recent visit to China.

Speaking about her break-up with Hamilton’s father Anthony, Carmen once revealed: ‘Lewis was the best thing to come out of my marriage. [The split] didn’t damage Lewis.
‘He is probably better for it than if we had stuck together in an unhappy marriage. Tony wanted to be somebody and he has achieved that. I wanted the quiet life and that put a barrier between us. I couldn’t see myself in that busy, hectic lifestyle.
‘But I didn’t stop him making sure Lewis got what he wanted. Without his dad’s constant, constant work he would not have been able to continue.’
In November 2020, Hamilton shared a gushing tribute to Carmen on her birthday, posting a slew of photos with her over the years. He wrote: ‘I want to take a moment to celebrate my mum today. Since the day you brought me into this world you showered me with love, showed me the importance of empathy, compassion and caring for others.
‘The unconditional love you’ve shown me is unmatched and I feel so lucky to have a mother as wonderful as you. You are the best part of me. Happy Birthday mum, I hope you have the best day.’
On Thursday, Hamilton doted on Kardashian’s oldest son Saint, 10, as he wrapped an arm around the youngster while the reality star held hands with daughter Chicago, eight, and son Psalm, seven. Her oldest daughter North, 12, did not appear to be in attendance.
The couple, who have been friends for over a decade, have been going strong for nearly five months after they were first spotted getting cozy on New Year’s Eve in Aspen.
They went public with their romance at the Super Bowl in February then subsequently went Instagram official.
Last month, Kardashian and Hamilton were spotted kissing for the first time when they went swimming in the Pacific Ocean near her home in Malibu.
They were most recently spotted together during weekend one of the Coachella Festival in California.

Last month, Kardashian reportedly made an eye-watering 11,000-mile round trip just to spend 24 hours with Hamilton.
The reality TV star is believed to have flown to London from LA on her private jet to spend time with her beau.
After touching down in Farnborough, Hants, she was driven to F1 driver Lewis’s £18million home in Kensington.
Sources close to the mother of four say her strenuous trip across the Atlantic is in a bid to keep their romance alive.
An insider told The Sun: ‘Lewis and Kim are two of the busiest people in showbiz, but they are determined to do everything to see each other when they have any spare time.’
