Magda Szubanski has issued a warning to fans, after she was targeted in another online hoax.
The Kath & Kim star, 65, took to Instagram on Friday to expose a ‘bulls***’ health scam which used both her name and celebrity GP, Dr Ginni Mansberg, to lure unsuspecting people into buying products.
‘Hi peeps, it’s bulls*** scam alert time again,’ she said in the clip.
‘I have never met Dr Ginni Mansberg, let alone had a conversation in public or in private with her about how, when, where, why, how often I wee.’
She continued: ‘There’s something going around on the internet. It’s just a scam trying to flog some product called Vital Hemp. It’s all bulls***.’
Magda then urged her followers not to believe everything they see online.

‘The rule of thumb, I would say, is if you want to know if something is true or whether I’ve said it, come to my Instagram page and that’s where I put my posts,’ she said.
‘This is very annoying and I really hope you haven’t wasted your money. Happy Friday, love you all.’
She was also quick to clarify, in the post’s caption, that Dr Mansberg was also a victim of the scam.
‘Dr Ginni is NOT the perpetrator!! She’s being used just like me,’ she wrote.
It’s now the third time this year that Magda has been the subject of online hoaxes.
Back in January, Magda issued an urgent warning to fans after her likeness was used in a cruel scam.
Sharing an AI-generated image of a woman resembling her lying in a hospital bed, the Kath & Kim star made it clear the image was fake and was being used to swindle well-meaning supporters out of money.
‘Ok. Dear peeps. This lovely lady – whoever she is – is not me. I hope she’s doing well,’ Magda wrote.

She warned the image was being circulated online to raise funds supposedly for her cancer treatment, stressing she had absolutely no involvement in the appeal, and urged fans not to donate.
‘Please don’t think it’s me and DEFINITELY DO NOT DONATE MONEY TO ANY MEDICAL FUNDRAISER THAT PURPORTS TO BE ME!! If you want the real me you can always find me here. Otherwise – it’s a scam,’ she cautioned.
Then, in February, Magda was the victim of another cruel hoax that claimed she had died.
A recent photo of Magda was shared to social media and captioned with some heartbreaking – and false – words.
‘Thank you and goodbye Magda Szubanski. 1961 – 2026,’ the fake tribute began.
‘Grab your tissues! At 4 a.m. today, the family of beloved entertainer Magda Szubanski released a heartbreaking announcement: “She can finally rest in peace…”.’
However, followers quickly noticed it was a cruel hoax as Magda was still alive, and took to the comments section to voice their dissatisfaction.
‘If Magda had passed, it would be all over the news,’ one person wrote.

‘I wonder what the celebrities think when they see themselves pass away,’ another person quipped.
‘It would be on the news before anywhere else. Not true,’ a third chimed in.
Magda, who announced that she was battling a rare form of cancer known as Mantle Cell Lymphoma in May last year, revealed in February that she was in remission after completing chemotherapy.
‘It’s not a cure, but if I’ve got a good remission, hopefully that will mean I’ll be able to keep the cancer at bay for a good long time,’ she said.
