Emma McKeon is re-emerging into public life after her split with former boyfriend Cody Simpson was revealed earlier this year.
The 31-year-old attended the opening night of Disney’s The Lion King at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney on Thursday, going solo for the event.
The Olympic swimmer looked in good spirits as she turned heads in a white halter dress with polka dots throughout.
She added a pair of strappy black sandals with a low heel, and slung a pink designer purse with a gold chain strap over her arm.
For makeup, the athlete chose a warm-toned, glowing palette with a nude lip gloss and wore her caramel locks down.
Emma finished the ensemble by accessorising with gold hoop earrings and a number of rings.

Following the news, Cody was dogged by persistent romance rumours, particularly after being spotted looking very cosy with American influencer Adelia Clark.
Taking to Instagram and TikTok in recent weeks, the pop star shared that he is taking some ‘me time’ following his split with Emma.
Cody posted a short clip that showed him posing nonchalantly by a basketball court as his track Baby Blue played over the scene.
While he remained mute in the clip, Cody’s caption revealed he is currently very much single.
‘No girlfriend, gym x4 per week, reading daily,’ he wrote.
Cody’s post came after rumours of a romance with Adelia Clark began to swirl, just two weeks after his split with Emma was revealed.
The pair looked very comfortable in each other’s company at a Los Angeles café, with Cody wrapping his arm around the brunette’s shoulders and pulling her towards his chest as they walked side-by-side.

After realising they had been photographed, however, the pair quickly separated, with Adelia turning away in an attempt to hide her face.
The sighting came just two weeks after news broke of his separation from Olympic swimming champion Emma after four years together.
Cody’s sister Alli confirmed the rumours they had split late last year on The Morning Show, saying her brother and the Olympic athlete had ‘moved on’ from one another.
The couple, who began dating in April 2022, sparked breakup speculation after it appeared as if they were living increasingly separate lives.
