Anna Kendrick claimed that an ‘aggressive’ Katy Perry touched her cleavage in a resurfaced interview.
The Twilight star, 40, detailed her ‘weird’ run-in with Perry, 41, during a 2014 appearance on Conan O’Brien’s talk show.
The clip has gained online traction following actress Ruby Rose‘s recent explosive claims that Perry sexually assaulted her in her early 20s, which the singer has categorically denied.
Recounting her ‘crazy night’ at the 2014 Grammys, Kendrick told O’Brien: ‘Katy Perry finger-banged my cleavage. It was a weird night.’
‘She’s very mature,’ Kendrick sarcastically quipped. ‘She just does that?’ O’Brien questioned. Kendrick then made a crack about the cleavage-baring Azzaro dress she wore that night, quipping, ‘Well, my dress, I was kind of asking for it.’
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Perry and Kendrick for comment.

‘What?’ a shocked Conan asked, to which Kendrick said, ‘If nobody had done it, I would have been a little sad.’
Conan further prodded her about the encounter: ‘Paint the scene. So you’re standing still and Katy Perry walks by and…’ he trailed off while making a downward finger gesture.
‘I have met her before and yeah,’ Kendrick explained, as Conan chimed in saying, ‘That’s her thing.’
‘Yeah, you know, she’s aggressive, I like it,’ Kendrick replied.
It comes after Perry has hit back at Rose’s ‘dangerous and reckless lies’ as she denied claims that she sexually assaulted the Orange Is the New Black actress.
The 40-year-old entertainer claimed in a social media post that the incident with the singer took place at a Melbourne nightclub when she was in her twenties.
Rose added that it had taken her ‘almost two decades’ to speak about it publicly.
However, a representative for Perry hit back at Rose’s comments in a statement to the Daily Mail, saying: ‘The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous, reckless lies.’

Kendrick explained that she had met Perry before, as Conan chimed in saying, ‘That’s her thing.’ The actress replied, ‘Yeah, you know, she’s aggressive, I like it’

‘Ms Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.’
Making the allegations in a post shared to Threads, Rose wrote: ‘Katy Perry sexually assaulted me at Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a s**t what she thinks.’
She added: ‘I was only in my early 20s. I’m now 40. It has taken almost two decades to say this publicly.’
‘Though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes. Thank you for seeing me.’
It is not the first time the Australian actress has criticized Perry in public.
She described the singer’s track Swish Swish as ‘purposeful poop’ in 2017.
However, Rose backtracked on the comments just days later, writing on X: ‘Being mean doesn’t suit me and leaves me feeling dirty.’
‘Truth is being mean leaves more leaks in your camp than the titanic and I get so triggered when I think bullies don’t get held accountable and it makes me think I should say something… but it’s not [my] place.’

While Perry was previously considered one of the world’s biggest popstars, she has seemingly been on a downward spiral and her latest music has failed to revive her career.
Last year, she drew criticism for taking part in the Blue Origin space flight, alongside Jeff Bezos’s wife Lauren Sanchez, with one PR expert even suggesting the singer could face ‘career extinction’.
Once the furor of her space mission died down, Perry suffered heartbreak in her personal life as she split from her fiancé, Orlando Bloom.
Despite the personal turmoil, she has since performed across five continents on her Lifetimes Tour and is now dating former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau.
