Kyle Sandilands is reportedly open to a settlement with ARN as court dates loom for both him and former co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.
A source told news.com.au that Sandilands is eager to avoid a drawn-out trial and would consider a ‘reasonable’ offer from his former employer.
‘If there was a reasonable figure that made him feel like he didn’t get totally f***ed over… yeah,’ the source said.
‘He is a righteous guy, and he could just go, “Let’s take this to the end”, but no one loves the idea of court.’
The source added that beyond the prospect of a lengthy court battle, Sandilands was ‘not interested’ in hearing any more ‘unflattering’ claims about him – such as those contained in Henderson’s recent statement of claim.
They suggested that the financial burden the court action could impose could also influence a decision to resolve the matter quickly.

‘Kyle and Jackie are playing with their own money here,’ the source said.
The publication also claimed that Sandilands could be open to returning to his old KIIS FM breakfast timeslot if a deal could be reached with ARN.
The source added that Sandilands is looking ahead to future opportunities and potential radio co-hosts if Henderson is not interested in reviving their partnership.
With speculation swirling about who that might be, the source claimed that Sophie Monk was the ‘logical next step’ for Sandilands.
‘When Kyle pops back on-air, I wouldn’t be surprised if Sophie is the co-host,’ they said. ‘She is fantastic, lovely with everyone and very giving on-air.’
Meanwhile, both Sandilands and Henderson are set to have their day in Federal Court next week.
The pair are expected to appear before Justice Angus Stewart in separate case management hearings on Friday, April 24.
If both attend, it could be the first time they have crossed paths since their now fateful on-air clash on February 20.

The hearings will establish deadlines for both parties to file evidence, and may also confirm final trial dates.
Provisional trial dates between 22 and 26 June were reserved for Sandilands’ matter when he appeared at his first case management hearing late last month.

It comes after Sandilands was reportedly ‘blindsided’ by Henderson’s bombshell ‘bullying’ claims about her former co-star.
It was recently revealed that Henderson was complaining about Sandilands to their KIIS radio bosses six months before their relationship blew up in the middle of a live show.
However, a source told News.com.au last week that Sandilands will claim that ARN did not make him aware that Henderson was having difficulty working with him, before their show-ending clash on February 20.
According to the court documents, Henderson started speaking with the head of KIIS network Derek Bargwanna, and executive producer Natalie Penfold about Sandilands’ ‘degrading comments’ in mid-2025.
If both Henderson and Sandilands attend their upcoming hearings, it could be the first time they have crossed paths since their now fateful on-air clash on February 20.
The complaints began on August 20 when Sandilands referred to Henderson’s ‘psycho babble’ and ‘weird psychological bulls***’ and allegedly attacked her personal and dating life during a live broadcast.
However, the publication reported that Kyle will claim he was not provided with any official feedback about the August 20 incident, only learning about Henderson’s complaints through her statement of claim.
‘I think maybe they were afraid or didn’t want to intervene. Who knows?’ the source said.
‘I don’t think it was part of some conspiracy.’
The source added that Kyle was unaware of the extent of Henderson’s anger over the August 20 incident, as she never raised it directly with him.
‘Dating was on the table at certain times, and he had no idea [she was still upset] because she did not mention anything directly to Kyle,’ the source said.
They said that Kyle’s comments were all part of his on-air persona.
‘Kyle being like, “I don’t know if you’re going to find anyone,” that is part of the parameters of the segment,’ they claimed.
