However, they have found it difficult to get past England, who not only beat them in a recent T20I series 2-1 but also defeated them in the warm-up.
As for Pakistan, they have never made it out of the group stage of this tournament, and their recent warm-up form offers little encouragement. They first lost to Sri Lanka and then to a lower-ranked Scotland. Can they produce an unlikely upset and rock India’s already difficult path in a group that also features Australia and South Africa?
