Spencer Pratt has borrowed from pop star Charli XCX, using a version of her ‘Brat summer’ slogan for his latest AI-generated political campaign.

The 42-year-old reality TV star-turned-politician, who debated Mayor Karen Bass this week, reimagines Los Angeles as a picture-perfect utopia in a minute-long commercial created by filmmaker Charles Curran.

He addresses issues of homelessness, wildfires, and crime in the clip – while spotlighting residents who make snarky remarks about the city’s pitfalls. First a firefighter comments that it’s easier to fight fires with water in the reservoir.

Then a cop sarcastically notes, ‘We’re even allowed to arrest criminals now, with handcuffs.’ There’s also a notably braless, midriff-baring young woman who walks a dog and says she no longer worries about stepping in human feces.

Before the montage ends, Pratt is seen on stage hyping up a crowd as he asks, ‘Who’s having a Pratt summer?’

It comes two years after Charli released her critically-acclaimed sixth album Brat, whose cover art – a slime-green background with the title in lowercase black font – became a pop culture symbol.

Elsewhere in Friday’s ad, a child at a playground says, ‘I love going to the park now that it’s not an open-air drug market.’

And a man enjoying a jog tells the viewer, ‘I only see needles in the hospital now.’

It comes on the heels of Pratt’s fiery debate against Bass and City Councilmember Nithya Raman on Wednesday.

He was declared the winner over Bass and Raman by 79 percent of viewers polled by NBC – boosting his chances at the polls on June 2.

Pratt particularly overwhelmed Raman, describing her as a ‘random city council member’ in a jab that went viral on social media.

The remark came as Raman accused the ex-The Hills star of teaming up with Bass to drive her out of the race, claiming they want to run only against each other ‘because they think that is what will help them win.’

After the comment drew laughs from the audience, Pratt mocked the idea as he said: ‘Mayor Bass and I are definitely not working together. I blame this person for burning my house down.’

Pratt’s Pacific Palisades home – which he shared with wife Heidi Montag and their two young sons – burned to the ground during January 2025’s devastating LA wildfires.

The tragedy radicalized him, and the former MTV star has since immersed himself in local politics.

Pratt debated Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass this week, resulting in a surge of support for the mayoral hopeful

While attending the They Let Us Burn! protest in the Palisades earlier this year, he unveiled his shocking plan to run for mayor of the city.

He proclaimed in a speech, ‘The system in Los Angeles isn’t struggling, it’s fundamentally broken. It is a machine designed to protect the people at the top and the friends they exchange favors with while the rest of us drown in toxic smoke and ash.

‘Business as usual is a death sentence for Los Angeles, and I’m done waiting for someone to take real action.

‘That’s why I am running for mayor. And let me be clear, this just isn’t a campaign, this is a mission, and we’re gonna expose the system.’

The father of two added, ‘They intentionally let us burn before, during and after. There was no accountability. It was gross negligence. They let this happen.

‘It wasn’t a natural disaster or something that was unavoidable. It was their fault, and we need the accountability we deserve.’
