An Australian influencer has been branded ‘privileged’ after revealing she had been taking Ubers after finding a bug in her car.

Latisha Clark, 22, took to TikTok on Thursday to share a short clip that showed her sitting in the passenger seat of a rideshare car.

She revealed that she had ditched her car a week prior after discovering an insect had taken up residence.

‘My dramatic a** in an Uber to the gym because I saw a bug in my car a week ago,’ Latisha captioned the short clip.

The clip drew a flurry of comments from fans, with some agreeing with Latisha that she was being ‘dramatic’.

‘How privileged,’ one wrote.

A second chimed in with, ‘A bug? That’s it?’

However, many jumped in to defend Latisha’s actions, recounting their own experiences with invading insects.

‘You’re not being dramatic,’ one follower wrote. ‘One time there was a spider in my room and I slept in the hallway for a month.’

Another said that a run-in with invading ants almost caused them to change addresses.

‘Found ants in my room a few days ago, so now I’ve stayed at my mother-in-law’s house for 3 whole nights. I may just move in,’ they commented.

Another insectophobe chimed in with a similar, ‘You’re not being dramatic. I literally slept in the bathroom for a month because there was a bug in my room.’

Yet another admitted to sleeping in a tent to avoid a sneaky millipede.

‘You’re not being dramatic, don’t worry. I found a millipede on my quilt so I slept outside in the tent,’ they wrote, to which Latisha replied: ‘HAHAHAHA OMG.’

Latisha, who boasts 3.9million followers on TikTok, is the daughter of controversial TikTok star Kat Clark.

Back in September, Kat, hit back after she was called ‘irresponsible’ for letting her youngest daughter fly solo around the US.

Kat, who moved to America in 2024 with husband Jonathan and youngest daughter Deja, 15, took to social media to defend her decision.

She allowed Deja to fly to another state to attend a concert with friends.

Kat explained that she was much different from her daughter when she was 14.

‘So, a lot of people have made it clear that they don’t like my style of parenting. Recently Deja took her first solo flight to another state to attend a concert with her friends,’ she said.

‘Deja is 14 about to turn 15, and when I think about myself at her age, we were not the same.

‘If you guys only knew what I did at 14, 15, 16 – I mean, I was pregnant at 16, you can only imagine.’

She added that coming from a strict household had prompted her to take a more relaxed approach with her children.

‘That’s not to say we don’t have rules – we definitely have rules, but we’re more open, I guess,’ she said.

‘When I was a teen I ran away from home several times and my parents had no idea where I was.’

Kat added that all bases were covered before Deja’s departure.

‘Deja went away, I knew where she was all the time, I knew the parents, I had their contact details,’ she said.

‘In my opinion, having a child that feels comfortable enough to ask me…to go, instead of hiding things from me, that’s the kind of relationship I want with my kid.’
