Jamie Lynn Spears‘ daughter Maddie towered over her ahead of the teen’s high school graduation in a series of sweet Instagram snaps shared on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old actress – who welcomed her eldest child when she was age 17 – proudly celebrated the 17-year-old as she took part in a pre-graduation ceremony before the big day.
In some of the images, Maddie could be seen standing inches above Spears as they both flashed cheerful smiles towards the camera.
The Zoey 101 alum donned a red halter-styled dress and a pair of white pumps for the festivities. And her mini-me daughter was also dressed for the occasion wearing a pink and white-checkered dress as well as white heels.
The pair stood in front of a black curtain inside an auditorium as they paused for memorable pictures together.
The teen famously survived a near-fatal accident in 2017 when she was just eight. At the time, it was reported that she was riding a Polaris ATV in Louisiana, where she lives, when she overcorrected to avoid a ditch, which caused the vehicle to flip and enter a pond.

The star, whose older sister is Britney Spears, offered a glimpse as they got ready before the ceremony as she was joined by her youngest daughter Ivey, eight.
The duo took lighthearted snaps while standing in front of a mirror near a spacious living room.

In the caption of the post, Spears penned: ‘Already emotionally unwell, and the actual graduation hasn’t even happened yet.’
The actress has been preparing for her eldest daughter’s graduation and reflected on the milestone in a separate emotional post last month.
The mom-of-two shared that graduation invitations have been sent out before admitting that she had been in a ‘lovely state of denial.’
‘I know the saying “the days are long, but the years are short” is one of the most cliche sayings, bc it’s said so much,’ she also wrote.
‘But I now know that cliches are only said so much bc they continue to ring true in every lifetime throughout the test of time.’
Spears also wrote about having ‘the privilege of watching your children grow up’ and said she is ‘so grateful for each every up & down moment throughout the journey of motherhood this far.’
While it is ‘bittersweet,’ the actress expressed that she is ‘also longing for them to stay your baby forever.’
‘I know I’m one of luckiest mama’s in the world, so I’ll stop my rambling now, until I completely lose it on graduation day.’
