The duo, who are real life friends and play on-screen lovers, ensured their first Met won’t be forgotten as they arrived in seriously stylish looks.
Fans pointed out that just a year ago, both actors were working as waiters while auditioning for roles and are now two of the hottest names in the industry.
Connor, 26, looked incredible in an androgynous ensemble from Yves Saint Laurent including a polka dot blouse, which showcased his muscular arms.
The sleeveless number was teamed with a pair of belted black trousers and dress shoes, while accessorising with Tiffany & Co jewellery.
Meanwhile, Hudson cut an equally stylish figure as a Balenciaga Matador, going shirtless in the pale blue co-ord with black beaded detailing.

Connor was looking just as fresh when he was spotted getting out of a taxi outside of his New York hotel after partying until 6am.
The screen star had switched into a beige suit, going shirtless underneath the two-piece, with a brown silk scarf worn around his shoulders.
Fans believed that they also spotted Hudson leaving the vehicle and heading in another direction from the hotel.
Hudson opted for a dramatic make-up look, sporting seriously smokey eye shadow in reds and blues, while also opting for diamond jewellery.
