Post Malone has delayed the start of his Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2 with Jelly Roll.

The 30-year-old singer, who closed out Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio, California on April 26 with a rowdy performance, shared a message to Instagram Stories late Friday night, in which he stated that he wanted to wrap up his upcoming album before he hits the road.

‘Looking at the upcoming schedule after Stagecoach. I came to the realization that what we’re trying to do, and what’s possible, isn’t really lining up,’ said Malone, who helped celebrate Ozzy Osbourne during the ‘In Memoriam’ segment at the 2026 Grammys.

‘The truth is, I promised y’all beautiful people new music, and I don’t have the time to finish it before tour starts. We ain’t ready for tour just yet, so I’m making the decision to push the tour back about 3 weeks to get this music done.’

The Rockstar hitmaker, who cracked open a beer during his Stagecoach performance, per People, went on: ‘That being said, I’m so sorry to the folks who were planning on coming to the few canceled shows. I was looking forward to going nuts with y’all. That THAT being said, we been making some bad–s s–t for this double album… and I can’t wait to perform for y’all again.’

The tour was originally slated to begin on May 13 at Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, but it’s been canceled along with five other dates including May 19 in Waco, Texas; May 23 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; May 26 in Birmingham, Alabama; May 29 in Tampa, Florida and June 5 in Oxford, Mississippi.

Now, the tour will commence on June 9 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Malone’s pending project, titled The Eternal Buzz, has been teased as a colossal 40-song double album featuring two discs with 20 songs each.

According to KISS Country 99.9, Malone’s forthcoming album will be more traditional country, with ‘more fiddle, pedal steel, guitar solos.’

Malone hasn’t released an album since 2024’s F-1 Trillion, which was a massive commercial hit.

It’s been suggested that if he can bring The Eternal Buzz to market or a hit single at the very least, it might boost ticket sales for the remaining dates on his Big Ass Stadium Part 2 tour with Jelly Roll, per Variety.

Jelly Roll, 41, shouldn’t be too put out by Malone’s decision to delay their tour.

The Son of a Sinner singer-songwriter is also headlining The Little Ass Shed Tour, a more intimate, 11-date run in smaller outdoor venues that commences on May 28.

Meanwhile, in a YouTube video uploaded on April 22, Jelly Roll admitted to losing his way with his diet before vowing to get back on track.

Jelly Roll, who weighed over 500lbs in 2023 but had slimmed down to 265lbs on the day he shot a Men’s Health magazine cover last November, revealed he had been ‘avoiding the scale’ over the last few months after deciding to ‘enjoy the holidays’ and indulge in ‘big meals.’

He said he had been less active due to an injury, so was scared to have a new weigh in ahead of returning to his diet.

‘We hit the goal and it was right before the holidays, so I was like, ‘You know what man, I’ve been working hard for the last three years losing this weight, I’m going to enjoy the holidays.

‘I had a big Thanksgiving meal, I had a big birthday meal, I ate a big Christmas meal. Kinda got off the rails and I broke my collarbone… a few days before Christmas.

‘I have, to some degree, lost my way. I am scared too, y’all,’ he told fans.

‘I feel really fat. I feel really bloated. I feel like this scale is going to let me down. I feel like I’m going to find out I’ve gained like 15lbs….’

Jelly Roll then turned the camera to his feet to show a digital scale reading of 276.2lbs.

‘That’s our reality right there. So, we’re up 12lbs,’ he said.

But now, the three-time Grammy winner has set his sights on running the New York Marathon and hopes to shed another 40-50lbs before the race on November 1.

‘I’ve never ran a marathon or thought about running a marathon,’ he shared.

Jelly Roll is also aiming to pose topless for a magazine.

He said: ‘I know it’s getting real silly now, but I just believe there’s a story that a guy can go from 560lbs. to a shirt off picture, it’s absurd.’
