Brooke Shields and lookalike daughter Rowan tend to attract attention wherever they go, and they didn’t disappoint as they were trailed by cameras in New York City on Wednesday.
The Blue Lagoon star, 60, was stylish in a black leather dress that showed off her fit figure to perfection, along with sleek black mules, while the aspiring journalist, 22, matched her in a black studded maxi dress and black heels.
The mother and daughter, who hobnobbed with Jacob Elordi at a Frankenstein event earlier this year, appeared to be filming a scene for Rowan’s new reality show Next Gen NYC.
Shields’s daughter was reported to have joined the second season of the Bravo series in October, and production is expected to continue through the spring.
The show follows a group of ‘nepo babies‘ and other children of well-known celebrities as they navigate adulthood and careers in New York.
Next Gen NYC also stars Riley Burruss, the daughter of Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss; Gia Giudice, the daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice; Brooks Marks, the son of Real Housewife of Salt Lake City’s Meredith Marks; Ariana Bierman, the daughter of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak; along with Damon Dash’s daughter Ava Dash among others.

Shields has shown unwavering support when it comes to Rowan’s career aspirations, and she appears to be actively encouraging her daughter’s role on Next Gen NYC as well.
‘She wants to go into broadcast journalism and news,’ the proud mom told E! News in June of last year. ‘She’s been at different outlets. She’s done their carpet stuff.’
Shields, who also has a daughter, Grier, 20, with husband Chris Henchy, 62, said everyone tells her how much they love her daughter.
‘She’s so appealing as a person,’ Shields continued. ‘I mean, I’m her mother, you know, but people love her, and they tell me all the time. They come out of the woodwork, like when I’m doing a morning show.’
Speaking about the advice she gives Rowan, Shields added, ‘I just say, “Never give up. Just keep going.” She’s going to be just fine.’
Last month, Rowan referenced her mom’s brief fling with John F Kennedy Jr in a video posted on TikTok.
The strawberry blonde was lip-syncing to Taylor Swift and Charli xcx’s live performance of Boom Clap from Taylor’s 1989 tour.
And ‘I wonder if JFK Jr was a good kisser’ was typed over the video.

Back in 2023, Shields remembered the late son of John F Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy, aka the ‘prince of Camelot,’ as ‘one of the best kissers’ during an interview on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show.
She revealed she had loved him as a child.
‘I was so madly in love with him. Since the time I was like three, my mom [Teri Shields] would say, “That’s the boy you’re going to marry.”‘
Shields then recalled the time she and JFK Jr met during a skiing trip to Aspen, Colorado.
‘We went out. I was invited with the family. He kept saying I looked like his mother, which was really interesting and a compliment. It was also like, “I don’t know how to feel about this.”‘
Shields admitted she was uncertain about going out with a man she had fancied for years.
‘And then we did have a real date. And I wouldn’t sleep with him because I kind of loved him too much,’ she recalled.
After the pair enjoyed drinks at a bar with his family, they jumped in a cab back to JFK Jr’s ‘chalet, hotel that he was in’ before they shared a smooch.

‘He kissed me, and it was like the best kiss I’ve ever had in my life. It was beyond not disappointing. The lips are beautiful, and the face is amazing, and the body and the person, and he was down to earth and funny and irreverent,’ she said.
Despite having crushed hard for JFK Jr, Shields failed to express her feelings to him at the time, explaining: ‘I froze because it was so precious to me. And I was like, “Oh, my God, you’re falling in love, and if you sleep with him, he may not talk to you again, and you can’t handle that.”‘
She went on: ‘I wasn’t playing a game. I really was just so afraid of being really hurt, because if I slept with him, I would’ve given him my entire universe, my heart, my everything.’
Asked by Stern if JFK Jr spoke to her after that moment, Shields answered: ‘I saw him the next day on the slope, and he didn’t look at me, and he didn’t talk to me… And he showed his true colors in that.’
