Brooklyn Beckham has dealt a fresh blow to his estranged mum as he shared an intimate snap of him embracing his wife Nicola Peltz while indulging Victoria’s favourite practise of crystal healing.
The aspiring chef, 27, took to Instagram on Saturday to post a photo of him lying on the floor with his heiress wife, 31, in his arms and surrounded by different crystals at their Los Angeles home.
Crystal healing is an alternative, pseudoscientific practice using gemstones to balance energy, reduce stress, and promote physical or emotional well-being.
However, the post sparked widespread mockery from his followers, who branded it ‘performative’ and ‘attention-seeking’.
While Brooklyn’s snap also appears to be another dig at his estranged parents, as mum Victoria, 51, is one of the biggest celebrity proponents of the wellness habit and previously gushed that crystal healing was something they enjoyed ‘as a family’.
The fashion designer has curated an enormous collection of crystals and has said they play a key part in her spiritual beliefs, to the point where she likes to have them close to hand at all times.

Taking to the comments of the snap, fans blasted Brooklyn as ‘self aggrandising’ and hypocritical, after he publicly accused his parents themselves of making ‘performative social media posts’ and claiming he wanted privacy.
They wrote: ‘If this isn’t attention seeking I don’t know what is….. just very weird’; ‘What do you even do? Lounge around and enjoy luxury?’;
‘Glad he’s getting away from all the ‘staged photos’ that he ‘hated’ so much’; ‘All the proof you need that money can’t buy you good taste.’; ‘Do you have anyone else to hang out besides your wife?’;
‘Performative Post?’; ‘Do you spend time with anyone other than Nicola, the dogs and your hot sauce?!?!?! Oh wait and now crystals’;
‘Guys! He’s just bravely fighting for some privacy on social media which his parents failed to give him’; ‘Weird as hell’.
Though some fans took to the comments to defend Brooklyn and Nicola, writing: ‘They are happy… that’s all there is to know.❤️’; ‘Love this ✨ love the crystals’.
‘Love this embrace of two people who have each other’s back, despite the opinions of strangers❣️’ ; ‘First photo absolutely beautiful!’
Victoria has long made known her love of crystal healing, making sure to impart her passion onto her four children and husband.
She was introduced to crystals shortly after moving to California in 2007 following David’s surprise move to Los Angeles Galaxy – and she still owns the first one she bought.
And she has admitted she takes them with her when she travels and even sleeps with some by her bed because she believes in their ‘positive energy.’

She told Porter magazine in 2022: ‘I have quite a few by the side of my bed, I hold them. I like to meditate – or try to meditate – and relax.
‘My first crystal was a black obsidian and I still carry it everywhere with me. I like to surround myself with positive energy, and so often have a little collection of crystals in my handbag. Reading has given me an understanding of the power of crystals.’
The Spice Girl has previously incorporated crystals into merchandising campaigns and clothing at her Dover Street boutique, giving shoppers the opportunity to appreciate their apparent aura.
While she even brought them into her designs, creating a collection of clothes with ‘secret pockets’ specifically to hold crystals, so they can be kept on your person at all times.
‘We clipped crystals onto belt loops, and included secret pockets for them on wide leg trousers – so you can carry charms wherever you go,’ she previously told Elle magazine.
‘I started by looking at my own crystal collection, and thinking about what might be important to my customer.
‘She’s strong and successful, and I wanted to offer something that could provide support navigating her career and her personal life.
‘As with all my collections, I want to make my customer feel confident and secure, and for me adding crystals felt like a nice way to help do that.’
And speaking to Vogue France in 2023, Victoria shared her delight that crystal healing had become a beloved family practice.
I’ believe a lot in crystal energy,’ she explained. ‘When I moved to LA I enjoyed learning and educating myself about crystals.
‘I used to go to the crystal farm. I learned how to meditate, about self-acceptance, about wellness.

‘I have lots of crystals in my house, in my office. The kids like to carry crystals and David has been known to carry crystals as well.
‘So as a family, we love the energy that radiates from the crystals.’
It comes after shortly after Victoria addressed the feud with Brooklyn directly for the first time after his explosive statement about their estrangement.
She said: ‘I think that we’ve always — we love our children so much. We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be.
‘And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it’.
She was also asked about whether she feels ‘remorse’ about bringing her family, including her four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14, as well as her parents, into the public spotlight.
She told The Wall Street Journal: ‘I wouldn’t say it comes with guilt, I’d say that there was a lot of adjusting from my mum and dad, when all of a sudden there were paparazzi outside their house. We’ve really taken our families on this ride with us’.
David and Victoria haven’t spoken to Brooklyn since last May, when he and his wife Nicola Peltz snubbed the former footballer’s 50th birthday celebrations.
It comes after shortly after Victoria addressed the feud with Brooklyn directly for the first time after his explosive statement about their estrangement (seen together in 2019)
Brooklyn and Nicola’s lawyers wrote to the Beckhams’ legal team demanding that they only converse through them.
Shortly before Christmas, Brooklyn blocked his parents on Instagram, and in January, he posted a brutal, bombshell six-page letter on the social media platform.
He claimed David and Victoria controlled him for most of his life, tried to split him and Nicola up and left him embarrassed when his mother danced ‘inappropriately’ with him during his first dance at his wedding.
Speaking about all four of her children earlier in the interview, Victoria added that ‘being a parent of young adult children and adult children, gosh, I mean, it’s very different from having little children’.
‘I think that we’re trying to do the best we can,’ adding that the negative press in the past three months has not affected her fashion and beauty business.
‘I think that ultimately people are buying my product because the product is really good. I don’t think they’re buying my eyeliner just because it’s me,’ she said.
