Jeremy Clarkson‘s partner Lisa Hogan made her live TV debut on Tuesday, and moments in was forced to apologise for swearing.

Lisa, 51, appeared on This Morning to chat about her new ITV dating show for farmers titled Farming for Love.

But the interview got off to a bumpy start when This Morning hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deely asked Lisa about working with Jeremy on his hit show Clarkson’s Farm.

Referring to Lisa’s day-to-day life on the farm, Cat remarked: ‘It smells a bit better in here [the studio], doesn’t it?’

Lisa responded: ‘Yes it does but the smell of silage is quite good.’

Ben then asked: ‘Have you fallen in love with the smell of silage or is that something that you’ve already had?’

Lisa clarified: ‘I have always been a bit of a farm girl so I do like the smell of the outdoors’. She added ‘pig s**t’ before covering her mouth with her hand in shock.

Ben was forced to interject, telling viewers: ‘Sorry to anyone who is offended’ as Lisa admitted: ‘It’s my first time.’

Lisa will be back on TV screens soon, following a group of British farmers as they go on a quest for their perfect person ‘to live and work alongside them’.

The show promises to give an insight not only into modern dating, but what it really means to be a farmer in 21st century Britain and is a spin-off of the hugely successful reality TV show, Farmer Wants a Wife, which has aired in the UK and beyond.

Lisa told ITV: ‘Farming is a way of life that requires resilience, patience, and the same can be said for relationships.

‘What I love about Farming for Love is how real it is – there is no hiding on a farm and that is what makes it such an honest way for people to get to know each other that has had success around the world.

‘I am really looking forward to leading this flock in their search for romance.’

Lisa is no stranger to the world of farming and works with Jeremy on his famous Diddly Squat Farm.

The former Top Gear host, 65, has fronted Prime Video’s Clarkson’s Farm since its 2021 launch and Lisa frequently appears too.

Last year, the pair hit the headlines when Lisa humbled Jeremy with a stinging swipe at his bedroom skills when Clarkson’s Farm pig breeding scenes took a very personal turn.

The episode, which aired last May, followed the Top Gear presenter as he began the process of breeding his pigs.

Jeremy brought in a boar to help things along and pointed to one of the pens before saying to his farm assistant Harriet, ‘So you reckon these are the girls?’

The new farmhand replied, ‘Look at their bums and you can see the little clitoris.’

‘You can’t! They don’t have clitoris!’ Jeremy exclaimed. ‘I promise you, they do,’ Harriet said.

‘Pigs have clitorises, I didn’t know that this morning,’ Jeremy then said to the camera, looking baffled. ‘There has been no morning in the last 63 years I’ve known that.’

‘He says you can’t see it,’ Harriet told Jeremy’s girlfriend, Lisa.

‘Jesus, he can’t find it either, I’ll tell you,’ Lisa quipped.

The trio cracked up laughing as she asked Jeremy, ‘Do you not know what a clitoris looks like? Have you never found one?’
