Has any honeymoon ever inspired quite as much mood-boarding, manifesting or straight-up envy as Dua Lipa and Callum Turner’s? Possibly not.
After their Sicily wedding earlier in June, the newlyweds have been spotted travelling through Italy on a romantic trip – swimming, sightseeing and sailing around on a yacht. Now, Lipa has shared photos from their honeymoon that give new meaning to the phrase la dolce vita (and are surely being added to Pinterest boards as we speak).
Flipping through her Instagram carousel, there are glimpses into gorgeous rooms in five-star hotels (including Palazzo Margherita in Basilicata, which is owned by filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, and Villa Treville in Positano); a gleeful shot of Lipa in a hotel robe, mid-air, jumping onto the bed; quiet moments spent reading or on the beach (with cherries!); truffle-topped pasta that stands a good chance of being from Trattoria al Moro in Rome; a sea urchin dish; a glowing moon; a bubble bath; a silly selfie; a field of sunflowers; crystal clear waters; sightseeing; working out and more besides.
Based on the pictures, Lipa paired her honeymoon travels with a reading and movie list that included the novels Martyr! by Kaveh Akbar and Lázár by Nelio Biedermann, and the 1948 Italian neorealist film Bicycle Thieves (watched in the cinema at Coppola’s hotel, no less). Also worth noting: her phone case looks to have a sticker of the iconic paparazzi photo of Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and Lindsay Lohan. Does it get any better than that?
