GOSSIP.CO.UK : Farmer Wants A Wife stars react to wild pregnancy rumours: ‘It sure as hell isn’t mine’

Farmer Wants A Wife stars were left stunned when they were questioned about an alleged ‘pregnancy scandal’ that rocked filming.

Sitting down with Daily Mail, the five farmers laughed off claims there had been a ‘pregnancy scare’ while filming the Channel Seven show.

The bizarre exchange comes as Farmer Jason Tessmann continues to make headlines over a highly-publicised legal ordeal involving a woman who allegedly falsely claimed to have given birth to his child.

‘Apparently there was a pregnancy scare this season,’ presenter Emily van Ameyde said.

The remark immediately caught the farmers off guard.

‘What? Really?’ Dylan replied.

Farmer Alex then jokingly pointed the finger at his fellow castmate.

‘Yeah, it was Dylan,’ he laughed.

Dylan quickly shut down the suggestion.

‘Oh, yeah. Well, no, I definitely don’t have a kid,’ he joked.

‘The only kid I got’s a joey, and it sure as hell isn’t mine DNA-wise.’

The light-hearted moment sparked laughter among the group, with Emily responding: ‘Some freaky stuff happening on your farm, eh?’

Jason, who was at the centre of the baby scare drama, gave a nervous smirk.

Earlier this week, reports emerged that several contestants on Jason’s Queensland dairy farm became suspicious about details of his personal life after arriving on the show.

The bizarre exchange comes as Farmer Jason Tessmann continues to make headlines over a highly-publicised legal ordeal involving a woman who allegedly falsely claimed to have given birth to his child

Concerns escalated after contestants allegedly gained access to a phone during filming and began researching Jason online, reports New Idea.

The women reportedly discovered articles relating to a legal dispute involving a woman who allegedly fabricated pregnancy documents and falsely claimed Jason had fathered her child.

The matter attracted national attention in 2025 after Jason alleged he had been scammed by the woman, who is accused of soliciting money from him while maintaining the false pregnancy claims.

Jason has consistently maintained he was the victim of the alleged deception.

The controversy reportedly became a topic of discussion among contestants, with some questioning whether they had been given the full picture about Jason’s dating history before joining the show.

Several women became concerned after discovering online references to what they believed was a previously undisclosed child.

Jason has previously introduced himself publicly as a father of two children.

Despite the off-screen controversy, the farmer has spoken openly about wanting to expand his family in the future.

In promotional material released before the season, Jason revealed he would ‘love to have two or three more kids’.

The father-of-two’s desire to find lasting love was one of the key reasons he signed up for the dating series.
